How to create a course on LifterLms

What is LifterLms?

LifterMS is one of the most popular learning management systems. We can easily build or manage an e-learning platform with LifterLMS. And the most important part is, it has a free version also. It’s easy to use so anyone can build an e-learning platform with the help of this.

How to create a course?

For creating a course kindly navigate to the dashboard and hover on the Courses.  Now you will find an option Add courses, click on this.

After clicking on add courses, you will redirect to add new course page. Here you have to fill up the fields as per your requirements.

 

In this section, you will get a 4-tab option. Sales page, General, Restriction, Reviews. You can fill them as per your choice. Also, you can see that there has an Add new button. This button will help you to add your access plan. Here you can add your plan title, plan SKU, and access expiration also this plan is free or not for your clients.

After that click on save and publish. So here, I am showing you a demo image.

 

Now, the most interesting and important part is to add lessons and quizzes to your course. For that, you have to click on Launch course builder. Already I have created courses.  But don’t worry I will show you the rest of the steps that you have to follow for creating courses. So, now click on the section.

A new section is created and now our task is to add a lesson to this section. The section is basically like a chapter. You also can rename it. I renamed it section to a conclusion. 

Now click on a lesson to add a new lesson. So, here you can see I have successfully added the lesson part. We can add lots of functionality to the lesson part. In the lesson part, we can add quizzes, content, prerequisite, and so on.

When we started a course the basic rules are firstly we learned then we attend an exam. So I did the same here. I arranged some lessons first then on the last day of a section I created a quiz.

Also, we can edit lessons. we can upload video and audio to this lesson and the drip method as per our requirements. Every section’s lesson part settings are the same.

I arranged some lessons first then on the last day of a section I created a quiz. In this part, we can add a description of the quiz, and the limits of attempts. Time duration and so on. Also, we can add a question for that we have to click on add question.

When we will click on additional questions we will see there have a lot of varieties like multiple questions, True/false, and Picture choice. For multiple-choice click on that option.

You will get a text field put your question there and also add your option. Also, you can add the points to this question.

Follow the same process for every variety of questions.

Don’t forget to click on save after every step. So the wait is over. The course is created. Navigate to the course catalog, and you will see the course.
